CARE-a-thon 2006

A day-long fundraiser for Escapees CARE Center. The Care Center is a 501(c)(3) corporation offering adult day care for qualifying adults. The adult day care program is open to Polk County residents as well as Escapees members. The program provides day-long assistance for those recovering from injuries, surgery, strokes, and those who have Alzheimer's or other dementia.
One of the main highlights of the day is the auction of the new and used items that have been donated to CARE. A great time is had by all as the audience tries to run the prices up (for the benefit of CARE) without being the last bidder.
