New York Professional Dance Company Holding Audition & Workshop for area kids

Beginning Friday, August 12^th, Angelina Arts Alliance’s 2011-2012 Season performers from RIOULT Dance/New York, will be in Lufkin to cast young dancers ages 9 to 13, to perform in their modern dance “Small Steps, Tiny Revolutions” at the Temple Theater. The company features the choreography of Pascal Rioult, who once performed with the legendary Martha Graham Dance Company. Young dancers are asked to be available on Friday, August 12^th at Academy of Gymnastics & Dance in Lufkin for a 10am-1pm workshop. Auditions will be held at the same location on Saturday, August 13^th from 9:30am-1pm.  13 to 16 dancers will be cast and must be available for all rehearsals (September 8^th-15^th) and three performances (September 16^th-17^th).
