The Piney Wood Lakes Chapter, Texas Master Naturalist invite everyone to attend their bi-annual Regional Texas Master Naturalist conference dedicated Preserving our Texas Natural Resources. Keynote speakers include 1. USF&WS Nancy C.Brown, Public Outreach Specialist, SW Region, US Fish & Wildlife Service on the Texas National Wildlife Refuges including the Trinity River NWR in Liberty County. 2. TPWD Brian Van Zee, Texas Parks & Wildlife regional director, Inland Fisheries Division on the progress of the invasive Zebra Mussel in Texas and in our Trinity River watershed 3. TFS Forest Resource Development Mike Murphrey on volunteering with the Texas Invaders Program and 4. Mary Pearl Meuth, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, State TMN Program Assistant Coordinator on Texas Master Naturalist program and helping in our area.
