The Land of the Dragon

The Livingston High School Theatre Arts Department's first production of the year is "The Land of the Dragon', a Chinese fantasy by Madge Miller. Production dates are November 14th and 21st at 7:00 p.m., with matinees on November 15th and 22nd at 2:00 p.m. Performances will be held at the new Livingston Intermediate School Auditorium (The old Livingston High School, located at US 190 and Lion Avenue). Tickets for the evening performances are $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Matinee prices are $5 for adults $2 for children. Tickets will be available for sale at the door, or from any LHS Drama student before the show. According to Lisa Murphy, LHS Drama Teacher, "This play is fun for everyone, even small children. The elaborate, colorful costumes, sight gags, and clever dialogue make it truly a family affair. That's one of the reasons we decided to run the play for two weeks, and include two matinees, so families could bring their younger children to enjoy the play." LHS Drama students in the cast include Carly Smith, Allison Faith, Natalie Dillard, Megan Kimes, Yancy Williams, Gabby Walker, Skylar Sepulvado, Kyanna Dunn, Penny Miller, Hannah Meade, and Zillah Rogers.
