Walk to End Alzheimer's
The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’sTM is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support, and research. It brings together family, friends, caregivers and concerned community members — who all want to make a difference. Since 1989, the Walk has raised more than $250 million to help those battling Alzheimer's disease.
In 2011, the Alzheimer's Association raised over $42 million nationwide, with more than $1,043,000 contributed by the 15 walks held in Southeast Texas. More than 1,100 teams and over 10,000 Texans came out to show support for the Alzheimer's Association Houston & Southeast Texas Chapter last fall!
